Ric Stern has performed on stage since age 7, where he appeared in a primary school production of “The Minstrel” as the character of Al Jolson, dressed as a black minstrel doing “Mammy” on bended knee. He studied Stagecraft and Elements of Acting at S.U.N.Y. at Nassau County and Hofstra University in Long Island, NY, USA. He played the part of Paul in an amateur production of Neil Simon's “Barefoot in the Park” at Hofstra University directed by a student. Since immigrating to Australia in 1982, Ric has performed as a Singer/Pianist for 3 years on channel TVW7 on daytime variety programs hosted by Jenny Seaton, and countless TV Commercials. More recently Ric did the pilot for the new ABC3 TV Sitcom “Mal.com” appearing as the Robot's Accompanist, and a small part in the WA Opera Company's production of Mozart's Magic Flute, at His Majesty's Theatre. Ric is a seasoned professional with the charismatic power of persuasion when on stage.
