Hailing from regional Western Australia, Taylor’s passion, enthusiasm and drive for the arts has encouraged her to not only train as an actor but give back to the community as an art educator. Her educational pursuits include a double degree in Contemporary Performance at WAAPA/ECU Mount Lawley and various post graduate qualifications in arts and education. These are supported by additional performance workshops, physical theatre intensives and screen acting classes.
Taylor has recently returned from living in London and traveling throughout Europe to Sydney. While living in London she continued performing, training, teaching and was mentored by professional UK actor, Paul McNeilly. As a member of the Audition Technique graduate program (Greg Apps) she regularly produces video content that puts her in the role of actor, writer and editor. Her most recent theatre roles were in the Bubble and Squeak productions of Unapologetic and Live from the Bridge (UK). She additionally appeared as a dancer in the West End interactive theatre performance You Me Bum Bum Train (UK). On screen Taylor has completed a leading role in Australian short film The Ice-Breaker and Dreaming Awake (Gold Remi winner).
As a teacher, she specialises in art and theatre education with further experience in running performance workshops and in-school dance programs. She is determined to continue developing her craft and embracing all that this incredible industry has to offer.
