Having recently graduated from the Diploma of Screen Performance at WAAPA, Evan started 2019 with the role of Jackson in the feature film An Ideal Host, A Robert Woods, Tyler Jacob-Jones and Sandbox production, filmed in WA’s South West.
Evan has a warmth about him and has great onset energy. He has a wide playing age and is easy-going and professional.
2018 was a year of learning, networking and flexing and developing his creative muscles, all leading him in the direction of delivering real performances in front of the camera. He had the privilege of training under Damian Foley and Angela Punch-Macgregor, Donald Woodburn and Andrew Lewis. Throughout the year Evan also had roles in various short films and learnt how to edit and developed an understanding for the basics of script writing.
Prior to WAAPA Evan had various roles in a number of short films and a small role in the feature film Pulse and undertook training – personal and master-class oriented - with Myles Pollard, Lisa Robertson, Annie Murtagh-Monks, Julia Moody, Vivien Garrett and Chum Ehelepola.
Evan is also a freelance trombone player and musician at large. Playing in various ensembles including the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra and is the Musical Director of Boneswest.
