Straight after leaving High School (2001-2002), Vasco took part in a multimedia presentation called “The Powerhouse Roadshow”. This consisted of a team of 8 young motivational performers, who would travel throughout schools in the metropolitan region of Perth and perform through drama, dance and song, portraying real topics relevant to high school students.
From 2002-2015 Vasco took time away from performing and began doing Labouring jobs to gain financial stability.
In 2016 Vasco’s love for performing was rekindled when he returned to the stage to join New City Theatre in “Toast and Takeaways”. Landing lead roles in his community theatre groups, Vasco thrives on roles which portray deep realistic emotion.
In 2018 Vasco played Played “Oberon the Fairy King” in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and “Long John Silver” in Treasure Island A Musical Panto.
As an openly gay actor, Vasco is very comfortable portraying gay, straight or gender diverse roles characters.
